#GTT: Collections

I haven’t participated in Girl Talk Thursday in a very long time so I decided hey! Why not? This topic has me written all over it!

I’ve always loved collecting things. When I was small and lived in California, I collected every seashell I thought was pretty. I had BAGS full of seashells. Then one day I came home from school and they were gone. But anyway….

Nail polish
I love nail polish. I hardly ever actually sit down and put it on because I’ve given up. “Mooooommmmy. I want water. Mommy I want a snaaaack.” Its always something that ruins my just perfectly painted nails and then I’m like screw it. But anyway. I like nail polishes. My husband says I don’t need anymore but what does he know?

Earrings & Rings
“But omg look how cute they are!” I tell my husband. “You have a lot of earrings that you don’t wear.” He says. “but I don’t have any this exact color! And it totally matches that shirt I got!” I tell him. “Whatever.” He says and I take that up as an “omg you are so right. BUY it!” So I do.

Movies/Books
While I don’t have a massive library of books and movies, I do love to buy them. “But its Collector’s Edition!” I tell my husband. Like the Lord of the Rings trilogy. My extended editions. Sigh. Good thing I bought those before he came along. I need to find all of them though. We might have a box somewhere that we never unpacked… Or my mom threw away that had *ahem* My Lord of the Rings shrine stuff *ahem* I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Electronics
Keybords, Mice, spare computer parts, hard drives, metal things from computers, empty cases, towers that need to be taken apart, monitors are all things you can find everywhere in my apartment. Its my husband’s little (BIG) collection. He also has FOUR fish tanks, three of which are in use. I swear, we are not hoarders!

Pictures
I love pictures. But I have an obsession with .gif images. *right click and save* I see one on Tumblr and omg I love that one. *saves* I guess its a good thing those stay on the computer… But I do wish they were animated. Like in picture frames! Like in Harry Potter! That would SIRIUSLY awesome.

What do you collect? Lip gloss? Shoes? Purses?
